Kubernetes quickly has become the de-facto standard to operate containerized applications at scale in the data-center.

The training Kubernetes Fundamentals covers the fundamentals needed to understand Kubernetes and get quickly up-to-speed. Learn how to manage the rich collection of Kubernetes objects and understand their interdependence.
The course is an excellent preparation for the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) exam. The Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) program has been developed by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), in collaboration with The Linux Foundation, to help expand the Kubernetes ecosystem through standardized training and certification.
The training will get you quickly up to speed with Kubernetes by theoretical lectures and hands-on exercises. You will learn how to orchestrate a container management platform used by companies like Google. This training also covers the topics that are required for the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) exam.
Course materials and lunches are included.

- summary Docker containers;

- managing objects;;
- namespaces;
- controllers: ReplicaSet, deployment, HPA;
- troubleshooting;
- volumes;
- networking (services);
- secrets and ConfigMaps;
- controllers: Job, CronJob, DaemonSet;
- node management;
- security;
- monitoring and logging.

Praktische informatie
Doelgroep
The course is meant for system administrators who want to learn how to manage containers in a Kubernetes cluster.
Voorkennis
Knowledge of Linux/UNIX part 1 (English course) is required. Knowledge about Docker containers is preferred but not necessary.
Duur
The course lasts three days.
Groepsgrootte
The size of the group is a maximum of twelve candidates.
Certificaat
After the course you can participate in the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) exam. The exam fees (€ 435,00) are not included.
